This compact six-week renovation at 27C Kahu, Mangawhai proves that a well-planned remodel can completely reshape how a home looks, feels and lives. Working alongside Elite Building on a return project for a valued repeat client, Above Board was engaged to deliver the GIB® fixing and GIB® stopping throughout the reconfigured interior, clean lines, crisp junctions and a flawless, paint-ready finish. Renovation lining demands a different kind of precision to a new build: where fresh plasterboard meets existing walls and ceilings, the junction has to disappear completely. With a new three-panel stacker door opening the living space to the outdoors, modified brickwork, and custom master robe and bedroom wardrobe fit-outs all reshaping the rooms, our team concentrated on flush joints, sharp internal and external corners, and dead-flat ceilings, so every new surface sits seamlessly against the old. The finished result is a smooth, paint-ready canvas that lets the home's upgrades take centre stage, the seamless indoor-outdoor flow, the new flooring and the custom storage.
