Compliance & Seismic Bracing (NZ Standards)

Your ceiling is designed and installed to meet NZ requirements. Seismic bracing follows the earthquake actions standard NZS 1170.5, referenced by B1/VM1 for Building Code compliance.

Where relevant, we align specifications with the suspended ceilings standard (NZS 2785) and project factors such as location, building importance level, ceiling height and mass of grid/tiles.

For fire safety in non‑SH risk groups (most commercial buildings), we select systems and linings in line with C/AS2 (Protection from Fire) requirements.

For intertenancy acoustic targets (e.g., multi‑unit residential), we follow local practice notes for G6 Airborne & Impact Sound (e.g., typical STC/IIC 55 guidance). We’ll propose build‑ups that meet consent expectations for your project.
